Softball is my passion, so yeah. :)

  • your ex-girlfriends
  • her
  • your ‘friends’
  • and me

So yes, that does make me feel special…thanks.

Why do I even like you? You’ve hurt me not once, not twice, but three times. This isn’t just some lame crush. I’ve discovered that there definitely are true feelings. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I can’t just stop liking you, it’s not that easy. It tears me apart knowing that other girls are perfect in every way, and I’m not. And the thing is, you like that. You lead me on to a point where even my cousins reading my texts think you like me. THAT is not okay. Ugh, what do i do… :(

looks like i’ll be sure to look out for your rise balls and outside pitches since you apparently “know how to pitch me to strike them out” even though i hit a double and two singles off of you…lol good luck.

But it’s never too late to start searching for colleges. I already know what I want to major in, Athletic Training/Sports Medicine, so that helps narrow down my choices. Sure, I would LOVE to play college ball. Actually, it’s what I have been dreaming off since I was about seven! I want to go to college to get an education, not strictly because of softball. Sooner or later, I’m going to have to contact some of these coaches. Technically they can’t talk to me until my first day of my junior year in high school, but as long as I’m on their radar and they know who I am, it should go well from there. I want to think I have a chance in some Big Ten or Big East, or even ACC, schools…but I don’t know yet. Pitt looks good right now, and their sports medicine major looks promising. Seton Hall also looks good.

Instead of worrying about what school first, I have to make sure I sign up for the NCAA clearinghouse. I need to make a video of my hitting, fielding, ect. Most college look for skill, but they also look for behavior and passion. I remember speaking with the University of Penn’s softball coach, and she said she liked my demeanor. I asked her what coaches like her look for, and she said positiveness and a clean player. By “clean” she meant shirt tucked in, head and chin up, few to almost no errors, ect. I strive to be the best I can be, but I know I’ll have to be better.

Road to College Ball is underway!

It is. You have NO idea how much running we actually do, so please do yourself a favor and shut up. Just because the school team doesn’t do shit, doesn’t mean that’s what happens on every team. I work my butt off in the winter during winter workouts, and on and off the field for my travel team. I’d like to know how many coaches are already interested in you…? I would not have cared if you insulted the school team, but when it comes to softball overall, I take offense to that. So next time you want to say how softball is easy and shouldn’t be considered a sport, fucking think again.

^^That plus me feeling like shit doesn’t mix well. Whatever.

How in the world did I not see this coming…it happens every single time. I find someone good and nice, and boom it comes back and slaps me in the face.
